I've always been open to an employment. The right place just didn't come along. And it's not that I havent been in the talks..

After being a consultant and freelancing on your own terms for several years I just felt like I didn't really need it. It's pretty comfortable jumping in and out between assignments, sometimes doing grand work rewriting authentication flows and other times just working at things from scratch.

But something happened when I first had a chat with the people at Henriksson. It was never about that "sexy AI product" or a big fat paycheck. It was about the fire in everyones eyes. It was the fact that the entire business builds on so many different things and not just software for once.

Anyways, what I'm trying to say is that for the foreseeable future you'll find me working with a group of really smart and hard working people - pushing a self storage solution for people that expect things to just work.

We won't be the next big AI startup. We won't be 1500 devs pushing $250k worth of tokens per year - but we will be a small group of excellent engineers.

And that really fires me up!

Out.
